Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of procurement specialists.
  • Identify and execute strategies for high-value sourcing deals aligned with savings targets and business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement strategies and policies.
  • Review and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure commercial feasibility and optimization.
  • Manage high-volume, low-value sourcing transactions with focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Guide and train team members on procurement processes, negotiations, and deal finalization.
  • Coordinate with onshore sourcing managers to ensure alignment and service delivery quality.
  • Support end-to-end sourcing activities including supplier onboarding, risk mitigation, contract management, and purchasing.
  • Manage stakeholder and supplier relationships to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Address escalations and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to business initiatives by assessing and communicating procurement impacts.
  • Strengthen procurement governance and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
  • Support audit requirements and implement audit recommendations.

Job description

The Procurement Sourcing and Engagement Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing strategic sourcing initiatives that drive cost efficiencies and support business objectives. Based in a service delivery center, this role leads an offshore team while partnering closely with onshore procurement stakeholders to ensure alignment, governance, and service excellence. The position contributes to strengthening procurement practices, supplier relationships, and end-to-end sourcing processes. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team, influence business-critical decisions, and drive continuous improvement across procurement operations.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of procurement specialists

Required Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or relevant procurement roles within a shared services environment
  • Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • Hands‑on experience with procurement systems/tools such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, or Ivalua
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Access)
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Shared Services, Financial Services, or multinational organizations
  • Exposure to both direct and indirect spend categories in strategic sourcing
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
