Job summary

3M is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to support transactional buying activities across assignments in our global supply network. You will manage the PO lifecycle, maintain pricing data, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

You'll contribute to reporting, adhere to sourcing policies and SOX controls, and participate in process improvements and 3M-wide initiatives while supporting flexible hours for global coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing or transactional procurement.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required.
• Strong customer service orientation with focus on quality.
• Analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute simple to moderate transactional buying activities for assigned countries, regions, or business areas.
• Manage the purchase order lifecycle from requisition to completion.
• Maintain pricing and purchasing data accurately within applicable systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform purchasing reporting activities as required.
• Follow clearly defined procedures and sourcing guidelines; adhere to SOX controls.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives (LSS).
• Support global procurement events and 3M-wide activities.
• Work flexible hours as needed to support global procurement requirements.
