Asian Development Bank (ADB) seeks a Procurement Officer to support procurement planning, evaluation, and implementation for projects across the Asia-Pacific region. The role collaborates with EAs/IAs, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliant and efficient procurement delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, public procurement, public policy, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of relevant procurement experience in infrastructure sectors.
• Familiarity with MDB procurement policies and procedures.
• Experience in project management, contract management and capacity building.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies for ADB projects and assess EA/IA capacity.
• Review procurement documents and recommend contract awards.
• Endorse and approve procurement and consulting transactions within delegated authority.
• Advise EA/IA on contract implementation and management issues.
• Support policy work and country procurement risk assessments.
