Job summary

Mikuriya Foods Corporation in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead sourcing and purchasing activities across materials, equipment, and services. The role focuses on implementing strategic procurement processes, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and inventory control.
• Experience in different procurement systems (inventory and warehouse, supplier/vendor management system).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and quotation to purchase and delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Source quality materials, products, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance, including quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluation and accreditation.
• Review purchase requests and ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budgets.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements in coordination with Operations and other departments.
• Ensure timely availability and delivery of required materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Analyze market prices, supplier quotations, and industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and monitor purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchases, quotations, contracts, and other procurement documents.
