Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Buyer in the Philippines to support supply chain and inventory operations. The role involves managing PO commitments, data updates, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency. Reports to the Manager, Purchasing.

You will contribute to expediting orders, monitoring performance, and maintaining accurate master data while adhering to safety and compliance standards at the Rosario, Cavite site.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles.
• Experience with purchasing systems and inventory management.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier delivery commitments by expediting orders during demand increases.
• Monitor PO commitments and escalate shortages.
• Help inventory control through PO cancellations and reschedules.
• Coordinate abnormal freight and maintain premium freight records.
• Update purchasing data, reports, and master files.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, logistics to close purchasing metrics.
• Assist in system updates and parameter management.
• Ensure cost-effective operations and safety compliance.
