LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP. is seeking a Procurement Staff to join our Metro Manila team in a full-time role focused on sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships for steel manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or higher in business/supply chain, with proven procurement or inventory experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset to support budgeting and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement/purchasing or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with procurement management systems or ERP software.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, purchasing procedures and inventory management.
• Ability to work within budgets and cost control.
• Problem-solving mindset to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Preferred: experience in steel or metal manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase requisitions and preparing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies required for manufacturing operations.
• Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations, pricing information, and delivery schedules.
• Comparing supplier quotes and analysing pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolving any delivery issues.
• Monitoring inventory levels and alerting management to stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of supplier databases and records.
• Supporting the preparation of reports on procurement activities, spending analysis, and supplier performance.
• Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Communicating with internal departments to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
