Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a production technician to operate assigned machines and ensure certification and quality in final test areas.

You will process engineering lots, support shift technicians, maintain documentation, and participate in continuous improvement activities while upholding 5S and safety standards on the line. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Education: TESDA/TVET or engineering undergrad; Sr High with TVL/STEM accepted.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail and follow instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned machine(s) and ensure certification badges are kept updated.
• Process engineering lots with quality controls and test area procedures (ATE and manual testing).
• Attend endorsement meetings and support shift technical operator activities.
• Assist with reliability samples and ensure proper documentation transfer to defined folders.
• Support Flexcell technicians and assist with setup issues through package conversion and setup.
• Perform first level verification (FLV), maintain 5S on stations, and monitor line performance.
• Deliver outputs at assigned station meeting utilization targets; escalate line issues to supervisor on duty.
• Maintain machine uptime, log downtime, lot history, and ensure proper reporting via Reporter8, MES/Reliability Lab, and PPO.
• Inform supervisor in emergencies and support production-related activities.
• Participate in CIT projects and suggestions program.
