Job Summary

The Process Optimization Supervisor supports the Process Optimization Manager by overseeing the execution of process improvement initiatives at the operational level. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day process optimization activities, ensuring adherence to standardized workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement within assigned functions or departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervise the implementation of approved process optimization initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution at the operational level.
2. Conduct detailed process mapping, time studies, root cause analysis, and data collection to identify inefficiencies, defects, and improvement opportunities.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
4. Support change management initiatives by assisting in training, communication, and user adoption of new processes, tools, and systems.
5. Identify operational-level opportunities for automation, digitization, and system enhancements and recommend them to the Manager.
6. Provide coaching, on-the-job guidance, and technical support to team members to strengthen process discipline and continuous improvement capabilities.
7. Prepare documentation and progress reports for management review.

Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any business-related courses

Certification: Lean Six Sigma Belt, or any other related process improvement certifications

Experience: 4-7 years of experience in process improvement or continuous improvement roles at the operational or departmental level
