JOB SUMMARY:
The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving process standardization, continuous improvement, and business transformation initiatives across the organization. The role supports end-to-end project delivery, identifies operational gaps, and implements data-driven solutions that align with strategic objectives. This position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, execute, and monitor improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving and methodologies, ensuring measurable and sustainable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process standardization initiatives to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
- Identify, analyze, and close process gaps through structured problem-solving and data-driven approaches.
- Design and implement process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives using best-practice methodologies.
- Develop systems and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and report results to stakeholders.
- Align improvement and project initiatives with broader organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Support end-to-end project management activities including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and proactively manage dependencies.
- Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
- Work closely with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to drive business improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Communicate effectively to ensure clarity of expectations, deliverables, and timelines across stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular project updates, performance metrics, and insights to leadership and senior management.
- Support data-backed decision-making by translating complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Analyze operational and process data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Assemble, interpret, and apply critical thinking to data to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review, including high-level metrics and improvement outcomes.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to team members on process improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and accountability.
- Support teams in adopting standardized processes and sustaining improvements over time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or any related course.
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Process Improvement, Business Excellence, Project Management, Product, Operations, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and execution skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and independently when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or formal training.
- Experience in process mapping, data analysis, and process documentation tools.
- Experience presenting reports and insights to senior leaders or executives.
- Strong project management capability with demonstrated delivery of improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Excel experience with data extraction, transformation, and reporting is an advantage.
