Job summary

SM Retail Inc. in Pasay is seeking a detail‑oriented Business Analyst to support merchandising, inventory, and warehousing improvements. You will gather requirements, coordinate system enhancements, and drive UAT to ensure effective solutions.

The role acts as a bridge between business teams and IT, documenting processes, training users, and delivering data‑driven recommendations to optimize operations. Experience in retail or FMCG is a plus, with strong Excel skills and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Process Improvement.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and process improvements.
• Represent the Merchandising team in system projects and initiatives.
• Conduct UAT, prepare test scenarios, document results, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Coordinate with IT on system enhancements and implementation.
• Conduct user orientation and training for new and enhanced systems.
