Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to support merchandising, inventory, warehousing, and related processes in Metro Manila. You will gather requirements, document improvements, and liaise with IT to implement system enhancements.

The role involves analyzing sales and inventory data, preparing test scenarios, user guides, and training materials, and coordinating with cross-functional teams on system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis or related fields.
• Retail, eCommerce, FMCG, Merchandising, or Inventory experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and process improvements.

• Conduct UAT, prepare test scenarios, document results, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data and provide recommendations.

• Conduct user orientation and training for new and enhanced systems.
• Support projects related to merchandising, inventory, warehousing, promotions, and vendors.
