Philip Morris International is seeking a Process Engineer in the Philippines to ensure manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment are defined, documented, and continuously improved to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will act as SME for assigned technologies, lead process documentation, risk assessments, and CAPA; collaborate with production teams, and drive continuous improvement through training and knowledge sharing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Production, Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience in process improvement, root cause analysis, and project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, IWS/Open+, DMS, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English and the local language.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Maintain process compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and support audits.
• Serve as the technical expert for assigned manufacturing technologies and support production teams in resolving process and product quality issues.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, risk assessments, and control plans.
• Analyze process losses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, cost optimization, and process efficiency.
• Manage and participate in projects involving process, system, and technology improvements, from concept through implementation.
• Monitor project performance and ensure expected business benefits are achieved.
• Provide technical coaching, training, and knowledge sharing to production teams and junior engineers.
• Support capability-building activities through training materials, best-practice sharing, and technical documentation.
