Job summary

ASIAN COATINGS PHILS., INC. is seeking a Process Engineer to ensure adherence to formulation and process standards across R&D and Production, while leading quality investigations and efficiency initiatives.

The role will optimize production capacity within manpower and material constraints and support daily management reporting. You will design and refine production schedules, allocate daily manpower, and coordinate with Raw Materials Preparation to maintain smooth finished goods flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• PRC-licensed Chemist or Chemical Engineer strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Possesses good moral character.
• Computer literate.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in both English and Tagalog.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with product formulation and process standards set by the R&D and Production Departments.
• Lead investigations into product quality issues, whether recurring or one-time.
• Drive initiatives to eliminate delays in production and make production process more agile.
• Identify design and effective capacity of existing equipment.
• Create daily Production job schedules that make full use of available Production capacity to address finished goods inventory requirements.
• Determine daily Production manpower allocation and job assignments needed to execute daily job schedules while ensuring that direct labor and overhead costs are minimized.
• Cascade daily Production job schedule to Raw Materials Preparation department and make adjustments to the schedule if needed.
• Assist with daily production department reporting to senior management.
