Qualifications

• Graduate in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, in Quality or Process Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and documents machine settings and process specs for next run.
• Standardizes machine specifications and settings across lines.
• Conducts regular process audits to ensure specs are met.
• Leads opportunities for process yield improvement and cost reduction using data.
• Initiates problem-solving with the Cross-Functional Team on quality issues.
• Leads Lean programs for the plant.
• Creates Kaizen activities and continuous improvement projects.
• Develops packaging qualification or process capability validation for new products with R&D/Operations.
• Works with sales to evaluate customer processes and ensure product integrity.
• Performs other duties as directed by superiors.

Job description

Work Specification:

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any Engineering Course.

• 2 years in any manufacturing industry (preferably Food Industry) under Quality or Process Engineering section.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures machine settings and process specifications are properly established and documented and are used for the next production run

• Ensures machine specifications and settings are standardized.

• Conducts regular Process audits to ensure all process specifications are met

• Spearhead in identifying opportunities per process and yield improvement and cost reduction by analyzing production processes, defect data and complaint data, and trends.

• Initiates problem-solving and brainstorming sessions together with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) for all quality-related issues

• Spearheads in the implementation of any Lean-related programs for the Plant

• To create and implement Kaizen Activities and other Continuous Improvement Projects

• Develops and executes packaging qualification or validation of process capability for new product development in conjunction with the R&D and Operations department

• To work with sales from time to time to evaluate customer processes and ensure the integrity of our products.

• Performs other duties as directed by superiors from time to time.
