IEC Greentech Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency in Laguna, Philippines.
The role involves Lean/Six Sigma-led improvements, process validation, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, QA, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce waste.
The Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing, developing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. The role ensures that production processes operate effectively while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, minimizing waste, and maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement process optimization projects to improve productivity and efficiency.
Monitor production performance and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
Reduce process variation and eliminate production bottlenecks.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations.
Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
Investigate recurring production problems and recommend preventive measures.
Assist in new product introduction and process validation.
Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet quality standards.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
Participate in root cause analysis for customer complaints and internal quality issues.
Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and cost reduction initiatives.
Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and operational costs.
Identify automation opportunities to improve production efficiency.
Assist in equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
Coordinate process trials and validation activities.
Ensure manufacturing equipment performs according to specifications.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct process risk assessments and implement safety improvements.
Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Promote a safe working environment within production areas.
Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and process flow diagrams.
Maintain process parameters and engineering records.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and present performance reports to management.
Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Research & Development teams.
Support engineering projects and plant expansion activities.
Train production personnel on new processes and improvements.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
PRC Licensed Engineer is an advantage.
At least 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement is preferred.
