Job summary

Asaba Manufacturing Phils., Inc is seeking a Process Engineer to analyze, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes for productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You will monitor lines, study data, and lead continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams.

The role requires experience on the shop floor, proficiency in Excel, and strong problem-solving skills to achieve production targets and sustain best practices on the line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related field).
• Experience in a manufacturing/production engineering environment.
• Hands-on shop floor operations and process control experience.
• Knowledge of productivity improvement, line balancing, and cost reduction.
• Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
• Knowledge of Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone diagrams, and PDCA.
• Familiar with SPC, FMEA, and Standard Work documentation.
• Ability to analyze production data, cycle time, downtime, and yield.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic reporting/dashboard preparation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct process studies and data analysis to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Analyze cycle time, downtime, yield, and production performance and recommend improvements.
• Perform line balancing and capacity analysis to optimize manpower, equipment, and flow.
• Identify process problems and perform root cause analysis using Why-Why and Fishbone diagrams.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for process issues.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen, Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop, review, and maintain Standard Work Instructions and process documentation.
• Monitor process quality using SPC and FMEA principles and coordinate improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Support new product, process, and equipment trials and evaluate performance.
• Prepare production reports, dashboards, and presentations using MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Ensure implementation of approved improvements and monitor effectiveness.
• Provide technical support to production personnel to meet targets and deadlines.

The role involves process monitoring, data analysis, line balancing, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production and achievement of operational targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with established standards.

• Conduct process studies and data analysis to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.

• Analyze cycle time, downtime, yield, and production performance and recommend appropriate improvements.

• Conduct line balancing and capacity analysis to optimize manpower, equipment, and production flow.

• Identify process problems and perform root cause analysis using tools such as Why-Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagram.

• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address process and production issues.

• Lead and participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.

• Develop, review, and maintain Standard Work Instructions, process documentation, and related engineering reports.

• Monitor process quality using basic SPC and FMEA principles and coordinate necessary improvements.

• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Production teams to resolve process-related issues.

• Support new product, process, and equipment trials and evaluate process performance.

• Prepare production reports, dashboards, and presentations using MS Excel and other reporting tools.

• Ensure implementation of approved process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
