Job summary

Unilever in General Trias, Cavite is seeking a Process Control Operator to set up, safely operate, monitor and troubleshoot in the mixing area. You will adjust machine settings, ensure quality, and maintain equipment while following GMP and safety guidelines.

The role includes autonomous maintenance, line loss reporting, and real-time production validation in SAP, with crew handover between shifts. Preference for those with engineering training and strong teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or a technical course related to the functions.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, or electronic process instrumentation and control systems.
• Familiar with R2S/UMS principles including OEE, losses, problem solving, SPC and cost variance.
• Basic thermodynamics and equipment operation knowledge.
• Analytical skills for physico-chemical properties.
• Understanding of raw material quality and specifications.
• Knowledge of 5S and its consistent practice.
• Skills in lubrication and autonomous maintenance activities.
• Mechanical systems knowledge (fasteners, drives).
• OSHAS/EMS/GMP/HACCP basics and report writing.
• Good PC and MS Excel skills; clear communication; teamwork.
• Amenable to work at Gateway Business Park, General Trias, Cavite (shuttle provided) and on fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely to meet production plan.
• Inspect equipment and adjust as needed for quality.
• Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance tasks.
• Ensure readiness of material tanks and isotainer trucks.
• Record real-time line loss; support Kaizen initiatives.
• Fill trackers and QA documentation for traceability.
• Coordinate RM batch kit calls and handover between shifts.
