Job summary

EY Philippines is seeking a Print Operations Technician to manage the setup, operation and maintenance of printers and server equipment. You will collaborate with customers to meet deadlines and maintain printing efficiency, with rotation shifts in a global, security‑minded environment.

You will join a team of infrastructure technicians providing 24x5 support and on‑call weekends, working in a complex global setting and helping improve workflows and print security while reducing waste.

Qualifications

• Over 5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience with AD, user/group/computer administration.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting (optional).
• Print infrastructure knowledge including printer configuration and drivers.
• Ability to influence printing behavior to optimize duplex and color printing.
• Ability to reduce paper/toner usage and centralize IT print management.
• Experience with authentication and pull printing.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing skills.

This role reports to the Global Associate Director within the Secure Access / Office Technology team. Secure Access manages a portfolio of in‑office technologies including physical access, mobile credentials, secure print and scan, and digital lockers. These services ensure EY people can securely access buildings, devices, and equipment with minimal friction, while meeting global security and compliance standards.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and detail-oriented Print Operations Technician within EY Secure Access. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of printers and server equipment. The Print Operations Technician will work closely with the customer to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency in the printing. Should be open to work in rotational shifts.

You will be part of a team of highly professional and skilled infrastructure technicians working 24*5 and on call weekends. You and the team will work within a complex global environment in collaboration with other technical teams on the ongoing projects and delivered services are of high importance. You will need to have the ability to work in a technically complex environment and at the same time understand, follow and help to improve workflow and processes.

Knowledge And Skills Requirements

• Over 5+ years of relevant experience of working in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, user/group/computer administration
• Knowledge and experience of PowerShell and scripting (optional)
• Knowledge and experience of working in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge within the Network area is a plus
• Printer configuration and drivers
• Influence user printing behavior – Optimize duplex and color printing
• Drastically reduce paper/toner usage – Pull Printing and print rules
• Strengthen IT print management – Centralize administration of users and devices
• Establish confidential printing – Authentication and Pull Print
• Simplify document handling – Print anywhere, scan and share documents
• Central Administration of users, services and devices to optimize IT operations and support
• Essential Tracking to continuously monitor print activity, pin-point problem areas up-front, fine tune and optimize even more
• Access Control by adding Authentication to the printer to protect devices from unauthorized use of print, scan and fax functionalities
• Knowledge on scan to email, scan to file options
• Knowledge of various protocols such as SMB, SNMPv3
• Knowledge of creating and implementing infrastructure certificates
• Knowledge of SSL and TLS
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructures
• Confidential Printing because Authentication with Pull Print ensures that prints are always delivered only into the right hands
• A modular approach offering a wide suite of flexible modules and add-ons to create the exact solution you need today – with expansion options for tomorrow
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with printing equipment.

Demonstrated ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders up to Partnership level

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

Comfortable operating in global, matrixed organizations across multiple cultures and time zones
