• Experience leading newly established or fast-paced teams
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong attention to grammar, accuracy, and detail
• Experience in the newspaper industry
• Familiarity with print fulfilment systems
• Experience working with Australian teams
• Build a trusted working relationship with the Team Leader to maintain aligned communication, consistent decision-making, and seamless coverage during absences

• Planning and Organization: Coordinate resources, timelines, and priorities effectively
• Apply a strong understanding of industry-relevant systems, tools, and technologies

Your Daily Tasks

Primary

• Manage the daily end-to-end print process and oversee delegated mastheads
• Ensure team adherence to established processes and quality standards
• Deliver training and strengthen team capability as required
• Support and guide individuals in contributing to a high-performing team
• Model and promote a service-excellence approach

Additional

• Identify and recommend improvements to processes, systems, and software applications to enhance performance and the client experience
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture
• Conduct performance evaluations, establish development goals, and provide ongoing feedback
• Work occasional overtime to support business priorities, including breaking news

• Support team members in building confidence with systems and processes

• Develop a solid understanding of print delivery technology and operations

• Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and productivity
• Confidently facilitate daily stand-ups and team meetings for Manila operations
• Integrate effectively with the print delivery leadership team

• Confidently manage a busy team while demonstrating a strong understanding of print fulfilment
• Develop familiarity with the daily news cycle and manage increasingly complex scenarios
• Consistently prioritize operational excellence, process compliance, and superior quality standards
