The Qualifications We Seek

Design and Operational Skills

• 3 to 4 years of relevant design experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interpret creative briefs accurately and determine the most effective visual solutions for target audiences
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple print and digital deadlines across various clients
• Proactive approach to evaluating and improving existing design processes for greater studio efficiency

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Deep understanding of print production processes, typography, grid systems, and accurate color management
• Strong capability in designing for digital platforms, with knowledge of social media specifications and digital best practices

Your Daily Tasks

Print Design & Editorial Layouts - 50%

• Design and execute high-quality, engaging editorial layouts for print publications while maintaining alignment with brand guidelines and editorial vision
• Evaluate and improve existing layout templates to increase production efficiency
• Prepare, pre-flight, and package print-ready artwork with rigorous attention to technical specifications and color accuracy

Digital & Social Media Asset Creation - 30%

• Produce compelling social media graphics, digital banners, and creative assets across the broader portfolio of key clients
• Translate print campaigns into engaging digital formats while considering the impact of design decisions on cross-channel brand identity
• Collect and analyze digital asset performance data and feedback to refine and elevate online design approaches

Process Improvement & Collaboration - 20%

• Collaborate with content editors, art directors, and account managers to evaluate design workflows and resolve methodological design challenges
• Organize and manage design assets while maintaining strict version control and an accessible asset library for the broader team
• Provide operational support to senior creatives and assist with broader agency design initiatives

Key Metrics

• Achieve 100% adherence to print production deadlines and technical specifications
• Reduce revision rounds through accurate interpretation of creative briefs and proactive problem-solving
• Deliver all digital assets on time and in alignment with campaign schedules
• Maintain a high standard of visual consistency across print and digital touchpoints
• Implement time-saving templates and improved studio processes successfully
• Earn positive feedback from internal stakeholders on collaboration, communication, and file organization
