Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, CS, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Azure certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, from the data layer and APIs through to the front end.
• Own solution architecture decisions and document trade-offs behind them for engineering and business stakeholders.
• Build and maintain the internal developer platform and delivery pipelines, including Backstage, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
• Set and enforce engineering standards through code review, pairing and test-driven and domain-driven design practice.
• Mentor engineers and lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tooling such as GitHub Copilot.

A hands‑on senior engineer who architects, builds and runs cloud‑native solutions across the full stack. This person is comfortable moving between a React front end, a .NET service layer, the data store beneath it and the platform tooling around it and is expected to set the technical direction other engineers follow. The role suits someone with deep Microsoft Azure experience who still writes production code every week.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Architect and build cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure, from the data layer and APIs through to the front end.
