Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Principal Service Reliability Engineer in the Philippines to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical platforms. You will collaborate with Development and Production Support teams to meet SLOs, drive toil reduction, and design scalable solutions.

This hybrid role requires 2–3 days in the local office. You will define SLIs/SLOs, lead incident response, and work on automation and capacity planning while shaping operational best practices across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Strong background in site reliability engineering and incident management.
• Hands-on with automation, scripting and infrastructure as code.
• Proficient in C# and building scalable, resilient services.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Able to lead cross-functional collaboration and adapt to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Define and track SLIs/SLOs and error budgets with engineering and product leads.
• Drive service reliability, availability, and scalability with Operations and Development teams.
• Lead toil reduction projects to minimize manual tasks.
• Establish feedback loops for visibility into stability of services in client environments.
• Lead production incident response and perform root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Design/develop operational improvements with development teams and prioritize changes.
