Job summary

Amadeus Marketing Phils, Inc. is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical platforms.

The role focuses on shaping reliability strategies, incident response, and operation metrics with collaboration across Development and Production Support teams. You will lead toil reduction, capacity planning, and code improvements, while implementing robust playbooks and change management input.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing SRE practices in cloud environments.
• Proficient in Azure cloud services and Navitaire infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
• Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets in partnership with engineering and product leads.
• Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to drive service reliability, availability, and scalability.
• Drive and participate in toil reduction projects to minimize recurring manual activities.
• Establish feedback loop with development teams for visibility on stability of services in client environments.
• Drive production incident response and lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Design/Develop operational improvement items with development teams in prioritizing these improvements.
• Provide input on process improvements to Change, Release, and Incident Management.
• Create and implement support playbooks for emergency response to production issues.
