LegalMatch Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer (Java) to lead the technical direction of critical products while remaining hands-on. You will architect scalable solutions and mentor engineers to build high-quality software powering our platform.

Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver cloud, web, mobile, and desktop applications. You will drive best practices, performance, and continuous improvement across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in a technical manager-level role.
• Hands-on expertise in Java and modern full-stack development (microservices, cloud, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AI-assisted development tools).
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices (Agile/Scrum, OO design, testing (TDD/BDD), SQL/NoSQL, secure, scalable development).
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering high-quality software on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and hands-on development of scalable software solutions, delivering core features and systems.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, promoting technical excellence and collaboration.
• Partner with Scrum Masters, Product, QA, and Engineering teams to plan, build, test, and deliver cloud, web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Establish and uphold software engineering best practices, ensuring timely, maintainable, and quality-aligned projects.
• Drive continuous improvement by resolving complex technical challenges and sharing emerging technologies.
