Job summary

GovTech is seeking a Principal / Lead Designer for the Work Pass Integrated System (WINS) to shape experience strategy at the system and programme level. You will influence through design standards, partnerships with product, engineering, operations, and policy, and guide delivery priorities to ensure scalable citizen-centric experiences.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in system design, service design, product design, or design strategy with impact on service delivery and performance.
• Experience in regulated environments or compliance-driven contexts preferred.
• Proven track record leading design across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience building design capabilities from scratch and scaling across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end experience vision and ensure coherence across products, systems, and touchpoints.
• Identify systemic pain points and translate policy/technical challenges into actionable design direction.
• Shape and steward common capabilities to enable rapid, scalable solutions and informed priorities.
• Establish and evolve design standards, frameworks, and quality bars across the programme.
