Job summary

TYLin Philippines is seeking a Principal Bridge Engineer to lead our bridge sector initiatives in the Philippines, driving business development, client engagement, and project execution across all design phases.

You will manage a team of engineers and designers, oversee complex steel and concrete bridge designs, ensure QA/CQ, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality solutions for major infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and PE licensure.
• 18+ years of bridge/structural experience on large projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams with design and construction oversight.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers in bridge projects from conceptual to detailed design.
• Oversee structural analysis and design of complex steel and concrete bridges, ensuring code compliance.
• Direct and review plans, specs, cost estimates, and scopes of work in line with standards.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets with QAQC and timely delivery.
• Mentor staff and coordinate CAD production with other disciplines.
• Engage with clients and support business development for new opportunities.
