Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a Teacher Assistant to support primary school teachers with administrative tasks and classroom materials.

The role includes maintaining data records, preparing teaching resources, assisting Heads of Department with relief duties, supervising students during arrivals and external journeys, and helping at school events such as parent meetings or concerts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working as a Teacher Assistant/Teacher Aide in a primary school.
• Preferably Sec 4 education or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating data records including stocktaking of teachers’ resources and inventory.
• Preparation of teaching resources to be used in classrooms.
• Assisting Heads of Department with relief duties matters as and when required.
• Assisting as a safety chaperon during daily arrival and dismissal of students and during external Learning Journeys.
• Providing administrative support during school events such as ushering for Parent-Teacher meetings and managing registration counters for school concerts.
