Job summary

Next Health Diagnostics in Taguig City is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician/General Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary healthcare across a broad range of patient needs. You will diagnose, treat, counsel, and refer when necessary, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will maintain patient confidentiality, stay abreast of medical advances, and promote health education, including immunization programs, with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Valid PRC License.
• Proven experience working as a General Practitioner or in a similar role.
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Responding to patients’ medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counselling, and referral, where necessary.
• Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results.
• Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
• Explaining procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
• Liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
• Promoting health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
• Meeting targets set by the government for specified treatments, e.g. child immunization.
• Keeping up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.
