Glades International Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and building utilities. You will inspect, service, troubleshoot, and document activities while ensuring safety and reliability across operations.
The role requires knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the ability to read manuals and diagrams. Shift work and on-call availability may be required.
Responsible for conducting scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. The role includes inspections, servicing, minor repairs, troubleshooting, and documentation of maintenance activities.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to the PM calendar.
Inspect mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and production equipment for wear or potential issues.
Clean, lubricate, adjust, and replace worn or defective parts.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor corrective repairs.
Record maintenance activities, inspection findings, and repair history in maintenance logs or CMMS.
Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to reduce breakdowns.
Coordinate with supervisors and production personnel regarding equipment status.
Follow company safety policies, occupational health standards, and housekeeping procedures.
Assist during equipment installation, commissioning, and emergency repairs when needed.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and report shortages.
Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
TESDA NC II certification (Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Mechatronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, etc.) is an advantage.
At least 1-2 years of experience in preventive or equipment maintenance is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Willing to work shifts, overtime, or on-call schedules if required.
