• Experience operating power press machines.
• Ability to read job orders and measure using tape or caliper.
• Familiarity with bending instructions and selecting dies/punches.
• Commitment to safety and use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Power Press Machine and perform bending according to Job Order.
• Measure and mark reference lines using tape measure or caliper.
• Select appropriate die and punch for materials.
• Double check bent items against bending instructions in Job Order.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and maintain equipment.
• Wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Create parts from blueprints or shop drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Job description

• Ability to set-up and operate Power Press Machine and bend items based on bending instructions attached on Job Order.

• Measures and sights along work piece, using tape measure or caliper to mark reference line

• Selects die and punch suitable for materials to be bent.

• Double checks the items bent based on bending instructions attached to the Job Order.

• Troubleshooting malfunctions and keeping equipment in good condition

• Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and observing safety policies

• Creating parts and components from blueprints or shop drawings

• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or management.
