About the role

VEER-O-METALS (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Rosario, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our metal fabrication operations. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to produce precision metal components that meet our exacting quality standards. This role is integral to our production capabilities and directly contributes to the successful delivery of products to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate press brake machines to bend, fold, and form metal sheets and plates according to specified technical drawings and measurements

• Set up and configure press brake equipment, including adjusting dies, tools, and safety devices before each production run

• Monitor machine operations continuously to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality specifications

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment to maintain optimal performance and longevity

• Inspect finished metal components for defects, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality before passing to the next production stage

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including quantities produced, material usage, and any equipment issues encountered

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions

• Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Collaborate with quality control and production planning teams to meet production targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment

• Sound knowledge of metal properties, gauge measurements, and tolerance standards relevant to sheet metal work

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues

• Good mathematical skills for calculating dimensions, angles, and production quantities

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A valid driver's license (preferred)

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production requirements

• Relevant vocational training or certifications in metal fabrication or machine operation (preferred)
