Job summary

MESCO, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a diligent technician graduate in Mechanical Technology or Industrial Technology to join our metal fabrication team. You will produce parts to precise dimensions and follow standard operating procedures on the production floor.

You will read mechanical drawings, use measuring instruments, compute and adapt to modern technology, maintain safety, and report issues promptly. A fast learner who can work under pressure and collaborate with teammates is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Technology or Industrial Technology.
• At least six months experience in metal manufacturing.
• Able to read mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with measuring instruments.
• Capable of computing and adapting to modern technology.
• Fast learner who can work under pressure.
• Team player; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Make the product within the required dimensions and specifications following the standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that the quality standards and production schedules are met.
• Observe safety on the production floor and report accidents, incidents, and nonconformities to superior/team leader immediately.
• Ensure that the machines used in production are fully utilized with minimum downtime through preventive maintenance tools and procedures.
• Safekeeping and protection of all measuring equipment and other work-related tools assigned by the department.
• Immediately report machine breakdowns to superior/team leader.
• Update daily performance through GSS software.
