Job summary

Cixin Precision Metal Products in Pasig, Metro Manila is seeking a skilled Machinist/Turnero to fabricate, repair and recondition precision metal parts using CNC and manual machines. You will read drawings, select tooling, and set operating parameters to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities include performing precise measurements with calipers and micrometers, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with engineering to optimize processes while upholding safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or vocational/technical degree in Machining/Mechanical Technology.
• TESDA certification in machining/lathe operation is an advantage.
• Professional engineering license preferred for senior roles.
• Minimum 1–3 years hands-on experience as Machinist/Turnero in manufacturing.
• Experience with manual lathe; CNC machining experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in welding (hand welding, ultrasonic welding) is highly desirable.
• Filipino citizen with valid government-issued ID and TIN.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate machining equipment (cnc, lathe, milling machine, grinder, drill, stamping, screwing, plating) for precision part fabrication, repair, and reconditioning
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and dimensional specifications to ensure product accuracy
• Select appropriate cutting tools, materials, and operating parameters based on metal properties and machining requirements
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part conformance to quality standards
• Conduct routine machine inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and machine operational status
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and optimize processes
• Strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols, tool handling standards, and 5S housekeeping requirements
