Job summary

A construction firm is seeking a Precast Engineer who will be responsible for design calculations to support construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and at least two years of experience in high rise construction projects. Responsibilities include interpreting plans and managing interphasing of architectural works. A professional attitude and good communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years technical work experience in high rise construction projects.
• Ability to control interphasing of architectural works.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage.

Job description

The Precast Engineer is responsible for all the design calculations and detailing to support the construction and installation activities worksite.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

A. Education

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

B. Experience

• At least two (2) years technical work experience in high rise construction projects
• Ability to interpret and execute plans, specifications
• Ability to control interphasing of architectural works
• Knowledge of environment, health and safety standards and procedures
• Project management skills
• Knowledge of/skills in MS Office-Basic
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, an advantage
• Verbal and written communication skills-Intermediate
• Professional attitude and appearance
