Job summary
Acquire Intelligence is seeking a meticulous Pre-Funding Support Agent to join our Ortigas-based team. You will support a Financial Services program, validating identity, banking, and entity information, while ensuring contracts are accurately built in PandaDoc and released within a 30-minute SLA.
You will work under tight timelines, perform OpenCorporates and SOS checks, and coordinate with leadership on any discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Supporting a Financial Services program and reporting to a Team Lead / Operations Manager, the Pre-Funding Support Agent serves as a critical compliance and accuracy checkpoint before funding execution. You’ll verify documentation integrity, confirm entity legitimacy, reconcile balances when required, ensure contracts contain accurate legal and banking information, and release completed contracts within a strict 30-minute SLA.
- Release contracts within 30 minutes of the request.
- Confirm whether balances must be calculated prior to contract release.
- Escalate to the underwriter or leadership when clarification is required before sending.
- Verify that the EIN matches internal records.
- Confirm that the Driver’s License is valid and up to date.
- Request an updated ID if expired.
- Ensure the merchant name in Salesforce matches the government ID exactly.
- Validate the voided check (VC) against submitted bank statements.
- Confirm the VC is acceptable for funding.
- Request a new VC, bank letter, or alternate proof if insufficient.
- Enter and double-check banking information, including the account and routing number.
- Confirm the bank statement name and VC match the funding entity.
- If there is a mismatch with SOS, list it as a DBA without “LLC” or “Inc.” in the DBA formatting.
- Correct DBA formatting in Salesforce and the contract as needed.
- Search the entity name and variations in OpenCorporates.
- Verify that the entity status is Active.
- If inactive, notify the broker and tag the required stakeholders.
- Ensure spelling matches SOS exactly in Salesforce.
- Confirm the state of incorporation matches Salesforce records.
- Identify and document branches or associated entities in other states.
- Investigate out-of-state entities via CLEAR/credit reports if applicable.
- Download and upload SOS/OpenCorporates filings to Salesforce if missing.
- Review “Other Owner Accounts” in Salesforce and add them to the entity list.
- Cross-reference prior contracts and UCC data.
- Check for other MCA contracts on file.
- Review for additional DBAs, entities, or owners.
- If balances were submitted: Calculate balances prior to contract release to determine if offer adjustments are required.
- If balances were not provided: Send the contract unless the broker selected “Wait to confirm balances.”
- Confirm with leadership if unclear before proceeding.
- Locate and add the entity website to Salesforce.
- Search the entity for additional DBAs, locations, or related businesses.
- Research the merchant and owner for other owned businesses using LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Search for lawsuits using entity and merchant name variations.
- Review news articles or publications for relevant findings.
- Verify the physical address via the website, Yelp, Google, or prior MCA contracts.
- Use Google Earth if necessary.
- Request broker clarification if unclear.
- Add all discovered DBAs to the contract.
- Confirm the mailing address matches the bank statement tied to the funded account.
- Request correction if inconsistent.
- Calculate Estimated Monthly Average (EMA):(Sum of 3 months’ deposits – MCA deposits) ÷ 3.
- Ensure the owner name matches the government ID exactly, including middle initials and suffixes.
- Confirm the correct counter-signer assignment prior to release.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work under strict 30-minute SLA requirements.
