Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Manila seeks a Power Systems Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support MV/HV design and reliability-critical projects. You will perform load flow, fault analysis, protection coordination and harmonic studies while collaborating with our Front Office Power Systems team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience delivering power systems engineering services for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent power systems software, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Working knowledge of LV and MV power generation systems, including diesel and gas prime movers.
• Sound understanding of BS and IEC standards, applicable regulations and codes.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and engage external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide MV and HV design support across projects within the Front Office Power Systems team.
• Carry out load flow, fault level, protection coordination, arc flash, earthing and harmonic studies.
• Support site visits, inspections and factory/site acceptance tests, including overseas locations.
• Share expertise with graduate and junior engineers and develop leadership skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the global network of 1,100 professionals.
