Job summary

Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI Global) in the Philippines seeks an engineer to develop and sustain production test processes for power semiconductor devices and modules. You will work with IGBTs, MOSFETs, diodes, and related test programs to ensure quality and yield.

The ideal candidate has a degree in electronics or related engineering and 1–3 years in semiconductor testing, data analysis, and SPC/DOE methodologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor power device or module testing (Si/SiC/GaN).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of electronics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Minitab is a plus.
• Experience in semiconductor final test, device characterization, and reliability testing.
• Knowledge of power semiconductor devices and modules.
• Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Knowledge of yield improvement, SPC, DOE, and failure analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and sustain production test processes and test programs for power semiconductor discrete devices and power modules, including IGBTs, MOSFETs, and diodes.
• Analyze test yield, failure, and reliability data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including qualification, characterization, and production ramp-up.
• Collaborate with Product, Process, Quality, and Operations teams to improve test coverage, yield, throughput, and overall test efficiency.
