Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Reliability and Performance Management Engineer (Commercial) in the Philippines. The Specialist-level role supports the RPM team to monitor, evaluate, and improve the thermal performance of coal-fired power plants.

You will analyze reliability data, develop improvement plans, ensure ISO-compliant reporting, and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
Licensed/Registered Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineer.
At least 5 years of experience in the O&M of power plants, specifically coal-fired.
Minimum 2 years in a performance and/or reliability-focused position.

Responsibilities

Produce root-cause analyses for critical equipment and investigate plant failures.
Monitor and report heat rates and subsystems like boilers and turbines.
Prepare operational compliance reports, generation statistics, and performance indices.
Ensure all activities conform to ISO standards.
