Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Chemical Process Analyst in Mariveles, Philippines to perform analysis, data interpretation, and operational adjustments for water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil quality to support reliable plant operations. You will work closely with the Chemical Services Section and Operating Department team to deliver results and develop your skills.

Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Power Generation Industry

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years in Power Generation Industry (Laboratory or Water Treatment).
Chemical Technician License (preferred); basic project and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform standard test procedures, sampling, sample handling, and laboratory analysis for water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil parameters.
Ensure process parameters remain within specifications, providing operational recommendations and adjustments based on test results.
Execute calibration checks and record updates for laboratory equipment and online analyzers in the Chemical Services Section.
Maintain laboratory environment, housekeeping, and prepare Purchase Requisitions for related items while ensuring safety compliance.
