Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry working in Laboratory or Water Treatment.
  • Chemical Technician License preferred; basic project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard test procedures, sampling, sample handling, and laboratory analysis for water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil parameters while maintaining quality control and proper sample coding.
  • Ensure process parameters remain within specifications, providing operational recommendations and adjustments based on test results.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance, calibration checks, and record updates for all laboratory equipment and online analyzers under the Chemical Services Section.
  • Maintain laboratory environment, housekeeping, non-chemical inventory, and create Purchase Requisitions for Chemical Services items while ensuring safety and environmental standards compliance.

As Chemical Process Analyst , you will perform the analysis, data interpretation, and operational adjustments for water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil quality parameters to support reliable plant operations and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Chemical Services Section and Operating Department team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform standard test procedures, sampling, sample handling, and laboratory analysis for water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil parameters while maintaining quality control criteria and proper sample coding .
  • Ensure process parameters remain within acceptable specifications, providing necessary operational recommendations, corrective actions, and adjustments based on test results .
  • Execute scheduled maintenance, calibration, calibration checks, and record updates for all laboratory equipment and online analyzers under the Chemical Services Section .
  • Maintain laboratory environmental conditions, good housekeeping, non-chemical inventory levels, and create Purchase Requisitions for Chemical Services-related items while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards .

What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry working either in Laboratory or Water Treatment
  • Chemical Technician License (preferred); basic project management and time management skills
Technical / Functional Skills:
  • Proficiency in power plant chemistry, standard laboratory testing techniques and equipment, online analyzers, sample preparation/handling, risk assessment, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
