Job summary

Mr. DIY Philippines is seeking a capable cashier to join our Guiuan Samar team. You will handle payments, operate registers and POS, balance cash drawers, and ensure accurate pricing. Providing friendly, attentive customer service is essential.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (any 4-year course), at least 1 year of cashiering or retail experience, good communication and computer literacy, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Experience in cashiering, preferably with POS.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with little supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Guiuan Samar.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
