Job summary

mr-diy-ph Philippines is seeking a reliable cashier to join our store in Misamis Oriental. You will handle transactions, balance the cash drawer, and provide friendly service to customers.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of retail experience, a bachelor’s degree, and are comfortable with POS systems. The role requires accurate pricing, receipts, and quick exchanges to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Balingasag Misamis Oriental.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
