Responsibilities

• Plan and stack container moves to optimize yard pattern and equipment use.
• Survey and analyze results to implement safe work procedures.
• Coordinate with other officers and handle material receipt and paperwork.
• Oversee workers at shipyards and junkyards.
• Check accuracy of releasing documents and ensure completeness.
• Maintain shipping and employee records; manage cargo inventory.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and accuracy in order fulfillment and receiving procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
