Job summary

Respicare Enterprises, Inc. in Quezon City is seeking a Respiratory Therapist/Sleep Technologist.

You will collect and analyze patient data, set testing parameters with physicians, and monitor polysomnography procedures to ensure safety and accuracy of recordings. Responsibilities include applying sensors, conducting PAP fittings, documenting observations, and educating patients for home sleep apnea testing while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or college degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
• RTRP or RPSGT experience is an advantage.
• Amenable to work in Quezon City and undergo medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information.
• Determine final testing parameters with physicians and protocols.
• Perform checks to ensure accuracy and safety of equipment during recording.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any reactions.
• Apply electrodes and sensors per standards.
• Conduct PAP interface fitting and desensitization.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure proper signals and adjust as needed.
• Document observations for scoring and interpretation of results.
• Follow safety procedures for self and patients.
• Educate patients for home sleep apnea testing.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies during sleep studies.
• Operate and maintain equipment per specifications.
• Attend in-service trainings to maintain competency.
