Job summary

rvdc in the Philippines is seeking an Environmental Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to DENR and related regulations on construction sites. You will monitor environmental programs, perform site inspections, and coordinate with engineers and safety staff to embed environmental controls.

You will prepare and submit monitoring records and compliance documents, manage waste segregation and disposal, prevent pollution, and ensure permits and certificates are kept up to date.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and requirements of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and other relevant agencies.
• Monitor and implement environmental management programs at construction sites.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and prevent potential environmental hazards and pollution.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit environmental reports, monitoring records, and compliance documents.
• Ensure proper waste segregation, handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Implement measures to prevent soil contamination, water pollution, and improper disposal of construction materials.
• Coordinate with project engineers, safety officers, site personnel, and environmental authorities regarding environmental compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of environmental management plans and pollution prevention programs.
• Ensure that environmental permits, certificates, and other required documents are updated and properly maintained.
