Job summary

UNDP Philippines is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead the PMU for the FAIR BHR project in Metro Manila. You will oversee strategic management, financial controls, and stakeholder engagement with government, UN agencies, and partners to deliver outcomes aligned with national BHR reforms.

The role requires advanced education in a relevant field, 2+ years of coordination experience, and strong skills in budgeting, reporting, and collaboration. Fluency in English and Filipino is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Law, Human Rights, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 additional years' experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
• Minimum two years (with masters) or four years (with bachelor) in project coordination/implementation.
• Experience in budget/financial monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with government, development partners, civil society, or private sector stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project management and day-to-day financial/admin oversight.
• Lead work plans, HR, procurement and M&E planning, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with UNDP financial rules and donor requirements.
• Coordinate outputs with UNDP management and technical teams.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, annual reports and donor reports.
• Maintain effective relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Support resource mobilization and development of project proposals.
• Manage PMU staff performance and provide coaching.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and advocacy for BHR reforms.
