Job summary

Gorilla Commerce is seeking a Manager, PLM & Product Data to own and mature the company’s PLM platform. This leadership role shapes data structure, governance and system maturity across SKUs, specs, BOMs, materials, and costing with global scope.

The role balances business ownership with technical governance, driving adoption and guiding an 18-month roadmap including stronger specification structure, packaging governance, and data claims. Global base possible, with US East hours alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PLM, product data management or product operations, incl. direct ownership of PLM or similar platform.
• Strong grasp of product hierarchy, multi-level BOMs, specs and revision management.
• Experience maintaining product data integrity against an ERP, incl. reconciliation and integration keys.
• Experience designing or governing approval workflows and version control.
• Advanced Excel and handling of large product datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day health, configuration and evolution of the PLM platform.
• Act as internal authority on PLM structure across hierarchy, specs, BOMs, materials, supplier and factory data.
• Determine whether issues are solved via configuration, data architecture, process design or vendor development.
• Own integration keys and mappings between PLM and ERP.
• Drive adoption, build SOPs/training/onboarding, and move workflows off spreadsheets into PLM.
• Manage PLM vendor relationship, tickets, requirements, testing and feature scoping.
