Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks an experienced maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and manufacturing equipment in the Philippines. You will inspect, operate, and test machinery, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, the ability to lead maintenance activities, and a proactive approach to reducing downtime.

Qualifications

Performs routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s) including physical building(s), process, and support equipment.

Job Requirements

• Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery or equipment to determine malfunctions and deciding on appropriate solutions to correct them.
• Providing technical support and training to maintenance and engineering department staff, as required.
• Leading routine maintenance and preventive maintenance required at the facilities, and on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues to minimize production downtime and process waste.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
