Job summary

SMDC is seeking a Platform Manager to oversee platform operations, ensure system stability, and coordinate service delivery and vendor management. You will drive continuous improvement and align IT capabilities with business needs.

The role requires deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, cloud services, and ITIL processes, with 7+ years in network/system administration and related platforms. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years in Network or System Administration and platform management.
• Experience in IT/Computer group as Network, System, and Database Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, performance, and availability of the enterprise platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and IT policies; remediate audit findings.
• Act as SME for IT service infrastructure, network, security, servers, apps and databases.
• Provide deep technical support for core systems like Outsystems, Microsoft Enterprise Applications (D365, Azure, etc.), and AWS Cloud.
• Coordinate upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle planning.
• Lead capacity, continuity, and availability management across platforms.
• Analyze, propose, and implement continuous service improvements; provide regular service reporting.
• Review transition activities to ensure new services can be fully supported.
