Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines is seeking a Platform Engineering Department Head to create and drive the bank's end-to-end platform strategy. You will oversee the design, development, deployment, and governance of foundational technology platforms and the enterprise DevOps framework to accelerate time-to-market, improve software quality, and boost operational efficiency across IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 15+ years in IT with 5+ years in Platform, DevOps, or SRE leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Banking domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute platform engineering strategy aligned with digital transformation.
• Oversee PaaS offering and DevOps framework.
• Lead architecture governance of core platforms, cloud infra, CI/CD, observability.
• Manage and mentor Platform Engineers, DevOps Architects, and SREs.
